One of the issues emerging from the EU referendum outcome has been how to develop new trading relationships beyond the EU. New Zealand may be a long way from the UK, but its increasingly being touted as a potential new, post-Brexit trading partner. But, businesses hoping to take advantage of trade improvements between the UK and New Zealand should remember to check the tax implications.
Secretary of State for International Trade, Liam Fox, and the New Zealand Minister of Trade, Todd McClay, agreed to establish a bilateral trade policy dialogue. The dialogue will complement the existing UK-New Zealand strategic dialogue on foreign policy.
